Recently, Zeversolar received the Saudi Aramco Quality Management System approval, becoming the only approved Chinese PV inverter manufacturer to have done so.
Since the beginning of June 2014, Aramco has been conducting the audit process for Zeversolar based on its strict QMS standards. Since then, Aramco has conducted several site visits and audits to the Zeversolar factory, and has also tracked and evaluated the overall quality management status for over more than one year.
Aramco’s suppliers’ QMS auditing approval is highly recognized in the Middle East, neighboring countries and within the industry. This gives Zeversolar key access to this region and continues to show Zeversolar’s excellent quality with the help of its parent company SMA.
According to The National AE reports, in 2015, we will see three trends emerging. First, we will see projects become much larger in size. The typical project will go from 1 to 10MW to 10 to 100MW. At the same time, the market is becoming more broad-based whereby in the past, most of the solar projects were focused on the UAE. However, this year there will be large-scale solar tenders in at least 10 different markets in the Middle East. This is a new record for this region, with Egypt leading the way followed by Jordan and then Morocco. Small Arabian Gulf countries such as Qatar are also making significant progress with solar PV. Saudi Arabia’s most recent plans for solar PV entail building a capacity of 6GW over the next 10 years. 2015 is expected to be the year that Saudi finally starts moving ahead with its ambitious plans.
