On June 3, the 13th (2019) Global Green Energy Leaders Dialogue of SNEC was held in Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai.

Dr. Zhang Yong, President of AISWEI, attended the conference and was invited to participate in the Global Leaders Dialogue on Photovoltaic Industry. He met with industry leaders from EU, Asia and North America, industry mainstream business leaders and authoritative experts to discuss the global sustainable development and the cooperative development strategies of the three major markets of Europe, Asia and the United States.

Zhang Yong said, grid parity is what we always admire and pursue. Based on past experience, grid parity has helped some regions and markets, such as Europe, to recover and develop, and the incessant stimulation of grid parity has led to the release of industrial demand, thus promoting the long-term sustainable development of the industry.

At the same time, Zhang Yong called for the realization of grid parity, not based on risk of reducing the quality of inverters known as the heart of the power station, but based on reducing non-technical costs, which account for 10%-20% of the cost of the power station, so as to help the photovoltaic industry achieve healthy and sustainable development.

"Grid parity is the goal, cost reduction and efficiency increase is an eternal proposition, the quality of inverters cannot be reduced, but should be improved, and the right way should be technological innovation and scale development", said Zhang Yong.

AISWEI (formerly SMA China), was formerly affiliated to SMA Group, a global leader in photovoltaic inverter industry. It has been renamed AISWEI after the management of SMA China acquired the equity and business interests in the domestic company owned by SMA Group in Germany this year.

AISWEI inherits 38 years of inverter technology from SMA Group of Germany, and invests 10% of its sales in research and development each year.
